Before you book.
Do I need climbing experience?
No. Kilimanjaro is a trekking peak — no ropes, no technical climbing. If you train regularly (gym, running, sport), you have the base. A 12-week prep plan builds the rest.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes — fully refundable up to 90 days before departure. 50% refunded between 60-90 days. The deposit can always be transferred to a future expedition.
What does $3,500 include?
Everything on the mountain — all park fees, full guide and porter team, all meals, camping equipment, emergency oxygen, airport transfers, and your prep plan. Flights to Tanzania are separate.
Why Lemosho over Machame?
Lemosho takes 8 days vs 6 for Machame. The extra two days of acclimatisation push summit success from 56% to 89%. Most people who fail on Kilimanjaro chose the wrong route.
How many people are in the group?
