Climbing higher together, one mountain at a time.

From beginner-friendly weekend hikes during lockdown to six Kilimanjaro expeditions spanning three continents, our partnership with Microsoft's ADC Hiking Club has grown into one of the longest-running corporate wellness collaborations on the mountain — with our biggest group yet booked for September 2026.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, as lockdowns disrupted daily routines and remote work became the norm, many Kenyans turned to the outdoors for solace. Nature offered a much-needed refuge, boosting mental and physical wellbeing during uncertain times.

Amid this shift, corporate Kenya began embracing outdoor experiences as a new approach to employee wellness. One of our most enduring partnerships began in Q3 2020 with Microsoft's Nairobi office. Through their internal hiking group, the ADC Hiking Club, we facilitated monthly hikes for employees of every fitness level — from beginner-friendly walks to more demanding treks.

These hikes quickly became more than a weekend getaway. With teams working remotely, they served as tools for team building, personal growth, and connection between colleagues who had never met in person. What started as a way to get outside has, five years on, become a standing tradition that now spans continents.
